In the process of developing new products at our business, the QA Engineer position is crucial. Before a product is released, the ideal candidate will be in charge of conducting tests to guarantee that it functions properly and satisfies customer requirements. We'd like to meet you if you have engineering experience and appreciate offering comprehensive solutions to software quality issues. You will look for defects, recognize problems, file reports, and make sure they are resolved.
You will:
· Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements.
· Have a good understanding of products and roadmaps with attention to detail in the project.
· Contribute to test planning, and build test cases for stories in the given sprint as per story acceptance criteria.
· Build and use test data required to accomplish the execution of test cases.
· Execute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results.
· Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging.
· Execute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression).
· Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutions.
· Apply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation.
· Interact with the team in various technological and business areas to identify needs and requirements for product growth and success.
· Work with the team including the team leads to improve the quality of all deliverables.
We are looking for someone who has:
· Master’s or Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related fields.
· 3+ years of proven work experience in software quality assurance.
· Ability to identify the system’s corner cases easily based on the acceptance criteria provided.
· Platform independent tester is a must (Android / iOS / Web Portal / Backend).
· Increased flexibility and learning speed, as well as the ability to switch to an unfamiliar stack, if necessary.
· Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
· Strong API Testing knowledge.
· Strong team player and must be able to participate in Release deployments to production.
· Ability to be self-directed to complete assigned activities.
· Excellent verbal and written skills, including advanced interpersonal and proven presentation skills.
· Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
