Our Fondue team is looking for a fullstack engineer to join their team in Israel.

Fondue increases profitability and turns promotions into relationships for ecommerce merchants.

We are doing so by replacing coupon codes with a more profitable alternative: brand-embedded CashBack.

Fondue is trusted by hundreds of Shopify brands across the U.S like Birthdate Candles, Windmill, Lambs, and Duradry who's already using Fondue to convert their shoppers more profitably.

The Role:

We’re looking for a talented fullstack engineer with a unique passion for frontend to join our growing development team.
You’ll join a flat, independent, versatile, delivery oriented and capable team in creating delightful experiences for both our merchants and their shoppers.
You will collaborate closely with our product, design, sales, and operation teams to deliver world-class technology, and be in charge of the full development lifecycle - from ideation to production.

What You’ll Do:

• Create experiences from UX to DB

• Help set frontend standards, ensure best practices, and choose technologies

• Mentor team members on building beautiful frontend code

• Play with data, experiment with features, and measure engagement of users

• Write built-for-scale clean code covered by just-enough tests

• Integrate with vendors and work with 3rd party services

• Provide state-of-the-art service to our customers by deploying, scaling and monitoring our services

• Work as part of a passionate tech-savvy team and interact with all areas of the company

Our stack: Typescript, Node.js, React, next.js, Tailwind, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Github, MongoDB and anything else we feel we need.

Who You Are:

• A problem solver at heart: independent, motivated and with a can do attitude

• Experienced in engineering Saas products on a cloud platform (3+ years)

• With a great eye for detail, loves great UX and passionate about React components

• Passionate having business impact through technology, writing clean code, and testing

• A true team player with great communication skills

• A self-starter who can drive things from end to end

• You love our tech stack (or hate it and have the passion to convince us otherwise)

• With background in ecommerce and/or payments (optional)
